VCI 100 midi notes

Ok I bought a VCI100 from someone on here this week and it's sweet.

But i'm trying to map it and some of the midi notes sent are the same on different buttons (see Dj Moonies map here)

In paticular the 2 middle Effects buttons - when I press them the end fx button lights up.. D5, D#5, E5

Is there a way round this?
I don't think Bomes would work cos how would it know which button the message was coming from?
Does FW 1.3 alter this?

Just a bit annoying seeing other led's flash at me when I press another key...
