Default How do you remember wicked mixes?!

    Do you write them down?

Rapid Evolution has an amazing 'mixout' function where you can save your mixouts. I was going to use RE alongside Itch but it's too much fiddling around on the computer. I wish Itch had this functionality.

I've started storing them in a spreadsheet and then writing a * in the comments field so I know I've stored a mixout but it's pretty time consuming!!!

I don't need to - they're wicked every single time

On a more serious note, I just use the comments section of Traktor and Post-Its.

Traktor saves the history and I can then save that as an webpage or export the whole thing along with the mp3's to store it all together on disc.

My brain. I actually try to remember more the ones that absolutely suck the massive donkey cock. Definitely don't want to make that mistake twice.

Yeah probably writing it in the comments is the easiest/best way.

I hate when I'm playing out and I remember that a track mixed perfectly in but can't remember what it was!

ewwwww - I know too many people who do this. You might as well bung a iPod in the corner

    also, WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN!
I use the comments section of the mp3 myself - two sections, what comes in well, what goes out well, and sometimes even the track marker that I should start the mixout on ...

#1 is probably the most important. I create short playlists with tracks that I know work together. Then I mix from playlist to playlist according to mood.
