USB Power not powerfull?

Hey, i was just looking at some new controllers that are available online. I currently have a VCI-100 and a audio 4 dj, which i connect to my macbook. The thing is that the macbook only has two usb connections available which are already taken by my vci and audio 4. Ive read that the USB ports provide 5volts and 1 amp. If i buy a new controller, i would have to buy a usb hub. Would this mean that, if i connect 2 controllers in the usb hub, the elecrical power would have to split in 2 different controllers, providing each controller with just 2 volts and 0.5 amps. If i connect more, will the power be split even more, and eventually making some cntrollers not work due to the lack of power.

Also, which are some good or awesome controllers for less than 1000 bucks?

Well the first thing that comes to mind is a VCI-100 Arcade Edition. But you have lots and lots of options.

Xone DX. I was going to make a border raid on Canada, sneak in to pilmat's house and steal his controller. But I figure it'll cost me more than $1300 to drive to Canada and back from Texas in my big ass truck so I'm going to have to come up with a better plan.

I think you already have an awesome controller and sound card. In fact it's so awesome it's what I have. If you want a controller to add to that set up what about a keyboard? if your looking to get into production you can get a Maschine and an Oxygen 25 or one of the Akai keyboards for under your price range.
