Default Novation Remote Zero SL Drum Pad question

I have a question about the eight drum pads on the Novation Remote Zero SL.

I would like to turn off the "velocity sensitivity" but cant find the setting.

Basically I want the out put of the press button to look something like

    B0 23 7f 1

And when the button is release it shoots out the normal

    B0 23 00 1

I know you can do this with normal buttons by setting them to "momentary" and then setting the min and max values. But I can't find a "momentary" setting on the drum pads. Thanks for any help you can provide.

My 49SL MkII shoots out Note On and Note off, not 127 and 0 velocity for the same note.

So for the first pad I get: 99 1f xx for the On note (where xx is the velocity) and 89 1f 40 for the off note.

Using Automap, you can change the sensitivity so that every hit will give you 127, and then set the off to give you 0.

    Does that help?

I think that just might do it! I will try that and report back.

Would you be willing to screen capture your settings? I've tried everything and I cannot get the drum pads to send a simple on/off message

    Just an "on" message

All I do is turn on the unit, press the Automap button (to turn it off), then it outputs G0 at however hard I hit it with a Note ON and a half second later sends out G0 note OFF at 64 velocity.

Below is the screen shot from Midi Monitor (free app).
