Audio Problems With Traktor Duo & Audio 2

You need to make sure your putting the mixer in external mode in preferences and not just using the layout section on the main Traktor page.

Many thanks, it worked. Amazing how obvious it seems with hindsight but my brain doesn't do obvious so many thanks for your suggestion.

Now, one more thing and I promise never to darken your doorstep with my lack of aptitude. I've connected my Kontrol X1 and when I press buttons the little midi indicator at the top of Traktor flashes on and off, but nothing else seems to happen. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you are running the latest version of Traktor (1.2.6 - in Help > About), then you can add the X1 in the controller preferences (top right of the screen) and set the input and output ports to the X1. (I'm guessing a bit because I haven't got an X1)

It's probably in Midi mode.
Needs to be in Native mode.
Hit the Hot Cue button.

Check the X1 manual about Native Mode.
