    Default Favourite chained FX combos.

    Hey people.

Im working on a mapping for padKontrol + farmpad. I have lots of great features and hope to share it with you all soon. It mostly revolves around flexible and advanced control of fx unit 1.

One of the features is going to be instant one hit access to 16 different favourite chained fx combinations. What i want to know is what are your favourite fx combos? There are only so may i can come up with myself!

    Thanks. Dups.

Delay & Gater with on/off buttons set to toggle, & Beatmasher with On button set to Hold would be my main chain settaing.

gater - format filter - reverb
beatmasher - delay - reverse grain

Weve told you ours, now you tell us yours

I also find it useful to double map all of my fx, one with a modifier to send that fx combo to FX bank 2 or whatever.

    As for my favourites:
    Gater - Reverb - Formant
    Slicer - Formant - Delay
    Beatmasher - Phaser flux - Filter 92

With this mapping, i exclusively focus on FX unit 1. This is because this mapping is designed to compliment something such as the VCI-100.

I could have a modifier toggle between fx 1 and 2 if traktor allowed you to have more than two modifier conditions per line of mapping. I have already done some crazy modifier magic and all these are used up.

I could also make a new page in farmpad with different MIDI CC's but for now im trying to get just the 1 FX right.

    /rant

So, any other killer fx chains i need to include?

beatmasher, gate, flanger is useful when scratching.

I don't really think about fx combos much because I bought a nanokontrol and have all four fx banks being controlled through that...

In techno/minimal sounds good on the buildups ( not all the time though ) and also to completely reinvent and destroy 4 a bar loop for instance, adding some delay as well...
    Hope it makes sense
