Yeah I totally agree with keeping the design as clean as possible. In saying that it doesn't mean it can't be somewhat interesting. Being a graphic designer for a job this is one of the most important considerations - sophistication, simplicity and style. But I totally agree with Eans idea for doing it for the upgrade, thus allowing people to have a choice.

Mr. Golden

i think the arcade buttons serve a very specific purpose for "controllerist" type of dj's I play techno and if I was using vinyl I don't think that I could be scratching...
I really think though that using a controller + laptop you need to step the game up because otherwise if you do the standard DJ thing with modern day tools you wont get the proper respect unless you take full advantage of what the technology can now offer..

Can you post the template for the VCI so that I can start working on design concepts now?
My job is a bit boring atm so need something to do at work ;D

VCI-100SE Plates
Ean,
Just curious & educating myself. Forgive me if this was posted elsewhere and I overlooked it. What is the difference (if any, besides cosmetic) between the VCI-100 Ean Golden SE plates & Vestax's Standard issue plates?

Mr. Golden
just that they are black and have the labeling for the SE edition funtions. I also chose different fonts and a slightly different layout. So its all just visual. Hope that answers the question.
