    Default Budget Sound Card Options?

Im expecting my VCI 100 SE in a couple of days (Thanx to SJ MAC) and I know Ill need a soundcard, but Im at a loss as to which one to choose?

Im on a TIGHT budget! And im just looking for something simple for use at home, not for playing out.

    Anyone any suggestions?

    Thanks

I think a lot of people on here us the Numark DJIO so your more likely to get more help if you need it for that than some other cards maybe.

That's another point to consider. If you don't already have traktor the upgrade offer may be worth the extra money to go ahead and get the Audio 2. It really is a much better soundcard that the others you might find on a budget.

I'll admit that although the sound quality of the Audio 2 is pretty good, it's nothing to brag about. But for $100, you get a tiny sound card with decent sound quality and will most likely suit your mobile DJ'ing needs. What surprised me the most was that it came bundled with 2x RCA Y-cables to connect to a DJ mixer. Before I bought it, I was already prepared to buy them so when I saw them in the packaging I was totally excited about not having to spend more money.

I just ordered an Audio 2! Seems to be the most popular option, plus space/ portability is also a factor, so hopefully it'll suit my needs!

    Thanks for the replies guys
