Default Looking for the cheapest vinyl control software.

so ive looked around serato + traktor and for the full setup is £400+ what would be the cheapest setup for me to use for just starting out.

    edit: I already have 2x KAM DDX750 decks's + a behringer DX626 mixer.
Im only really looking for a cheap soundcard, program + custom(?) control vinyls.

    thanks, hoodless.

I think maybe Mixxx has vinyl control and there's Deckadance as well.

DJ Decks. Hands down. And you're in LUCK!!! Adion over at DJ Decks is having a Summer Sale where DJ Decks is just 60 euros!!!

    Get yourself a cheap interface:

    Hercules 4&6

    ESI U46DJ

    Couple of Serato Timecode Vinyls:

    Serato BLACK Vinyl

    And DJ Decks:

    DJ Decks

DJ Decks has a free downloadable, fully functional demo. The demo works for 35 minutes at a time, and can be run indefinitely.

Also - you can download skins for DJ Decks, including some that look similar to Serato. Check the DJ Decks forum - tell 'em Patch sent ya! ;-)

I use DJ Decks with clear serato vinyl, a serato look skin, and the Esi U46DJ with the Novation Dicer. Awesome set-up, and around HALF the cost of Traktor/Serato. I'm very happy with the U46DJ - but I think if I was buying now I'd go for the Hercules 4&6.
