I was originally planning on writing this in order to ask for some help. But as my computer was rebooting so I could get on the net, I figured out what was causing my problem. But since I had it in my mind to make a post about my problem I'll just tell a story.
For the past couple weeks my computer speakers have had a low buzz. But today that buzz decided it was going to try and kill my ears. Well, I can't have that. The low buzz was killing me already, but a loud buzz was going to put me in a bad mood until it was fixed.
First thought was it must be a grounding issue so I started by wiggling cables until I pen pointed what it was,.... or should I say what it was NOT. Not the speakers them-self, not the mixing board, not the any of the audio wires and not any of the power cords to any of the gear attached to the computer. Well, damn I thought, gotta go deeper. Ripped off a side of my computer case, dinked around till I found out it was not the sound card, not the wi-fi card, not the TV tuner, not the power supply and not the computer power cord. Whew!, this was getting hairy. Clean all the dust out of the case and put it back together.
Then as my computer was booting back up, so I could come here and ask the people on this forum I thought about one last thing I didn't check.
So I did fix it. I wanna play a game and see if anyone can figure out what it was. Go ahead guess.
