Default MF Utility thinks my 3d is a classic?

I Had my 3d up and running just perfect for weeks, but when I switched from ean's mapping to beau's, my utility now thinks its a classic. I remember something with holding the outside 4 buttons... but I don't remember what I need to do after that. Please help!

Same thing, happened to me. Do you have Logic Pro installed?

I do not have Logic Installed... BUT I did figure out my issue. I was running a copied file of MF utility on my desktop. I went to where the actual file was located and everything worked just fine. Weird

The utility expects the plugin file folder which define the relevant setting for each model to be in the same folder as the application, if it cant find any model definitions it just defaults to "classic" with no settings which is a little miss-leading
