we have the thread about the flyers/ posters

but what if we had one where people would volunteer to break out photoshop and help make album covers/flyers/posters

generally this would be done in the persons free time, and no one would expect instant results, but you get the idea

is this too crazy of an idea?

i don't think it's too crazy of an idea? People who design album art at least get credited, unlike many poster designs which are often anonymous. Maybe a trade for a free cover in return for "Album art by: XYZ XYZ (http://www.xyzs website.xyz)" on the inside of the cover?

or have the site along with a name as a foot note on the cover, since (at least in my case) this will be attached to an mp3 file

possible perks:
free music (hearing the feel of the mix might help make the cover)
examples of pictures you might want in there (less headache for you)
generates business, if you have one
