Thought I would chime in on the subject. Even if you get your tracks from beatport, chances are the track was designed to be pressed. That being said, the track is also detuned a certain degree so that when it's played at tempo, it will be in key. Alot of controllerists i've encountered locally play nearly every track with pitch lock on and artifacting occurs when the tempo is brought up or down more than 2%.
