Default Jersey Shore Soundtrack is great CD!!

Believe it or not, The Jersey Shore soundtrack is actually a pretty good collection of dance songs. I know Pauly D gets hated on because of his not so great DJ skills but check out these tracks. Alot of them you probally already heard. But it's another indication that dance music is becoming more mainstream when MTV releases a CD like this one....

    1. Enrique Iglesias ft. Pitbull, "I Like It"

    2. Taio Cruz ft. Ludacris, "Break Your Heart" (Mixin Marc and Tony Svejda Edit)

"Being a guido is a WAY OF LIFE." Haha I actually played that song for a few friends just to make everyone laugh, which was exactly what it did.

Die Atzen are on the Jersey Shore Soundtrack? Surprised and at the same time NOT surprised.

Anyway, talking about surprisingly good soundtracks, my three favourites are still the one for the 1998 "Lost In Space" movie:

    - Apollo 440: Lost In Space
    - Juno Reactor & The Creatures: I'm here...Another Planet
    - The Crystal Method: Busy Child
    - Propellerheads: Bang On
    - Fatboy Slim: Everybody Needs A 303
    - Apollo 440: Will & Penny's Theme
    - Death In Vegas: Song For Penny
    - Space: Lost In Space

The one for the first "Tomb Raider" Movie:

    - U2: Elevation (Tomb Raider Mix)
    - Nine Inch Nails: Deep
    - Chemical Brothers: Galaxy Bounce
    - Missy Elliot feat. Nelly Furtado: Get Ur Freak On" (Remix)
    - Outkast: Speedballin
    - Moby: Ain't Never Learned
    - BT: The Revolution
    - Delerium feat. Aude: Terra Firma" (Lara's Mix)
    - Basement Jaxx: Where's Your Head At
    - Fatboy Slim: Illuminati (Which is in fact just "Michael Jackson" with new lyrics from Bootsy Collins)
    - Fluke: Absurd" (Whitewash Edit)
    - Leftfield: Song of Life
    - Groove Armada: Edge Hill
    - Bosco: Satellite
    - Oxide & Neutrino: Devil's Nightmare
    - Die toten Hosen: In Control

    and the OST for "Spawn":

    - Filter & The Crystal Method: (Can't You) Trip Like I Do
    - Marilyn Manson & Sneaker Pimps: Long Hard Road Out Of Hell
    - Orbital & Kirk Hammett: Satan
    - Korn & The Dust Brothers: Kick The P.A.
    - Butthole Surfers & Moby: Tiny rubberband
    - Metallica & DJ Spooky: For Whom The Bell Tolls
    - Stabbing Westward & Wink: Torn Apart
    - Mansun & 808 State: Skin Up Pin Up
    - Prodigy & Tom Morello: One Man Army
    - Silverchair & Vitro: Spawn
    - Henry Rollins & Goldie: T-4 Strain
    - Incubus & DJ Greyboy: Familiar
    - Slayer & Atari Teenage Riot: No Remorse (I Wanna Die)
    - Soul Coughing & Roni Size: A Plane Scraped Its Belly On A Sooty Yellow Moon

not surprised by the content of the Jersey Shore soundtrack, since the Jersey Shore area where the show had its genesis is all about house/dance/club music in the summer. I mean the whole way of summer life that the show is based on depends entirely on going out to hear house music. Let the proud (sometimes not so much...) tradition of Djais, Temps, Headliner, etc. live on!

The CD tracklist really doesnt surprise me at all. All very commercial tunes which was expected but could of been alot worse especailly being MTV. So did Pauly D produce this monster of a track or just put his lyrical mastermind to the test and create this classic to be?
