Default Novation Music . Com down?

I really need the editor and latest software, and it seems that it is down. Could someone confirm that it is down, and also if it is not too much asked, does someone have the latest editor handy for me?

No way of finding out why the site is down. I would say this looks very bad for novation. However, if you are desperate (as me) then you find other ways, so I stumbled upon a site that has BETA drivers from Focusrite and Novation

    http://mail.focusrite.com/beta/

Not bad, got the latest beta for the Editor there. Lets see what gives...

Since I am a IT and Web Technician, I had to investigate this a bit further. It seemed strange to me that a site like Novation would be down this long. Their admin would have been fired by now if that was the case, and I doubt he would let that happen.

The problem lies within their infrastructure, and they have made some changes to it recently. They have taken the IP assigned to novationmusic.com and made that the official WIKI of the SDKs for Focusrite and so on, however, its not properly setup so it wont even browse that.

So what you get there, is a cached version of your DNS. I restarted my Bind server here at home and the site started working again. If you only have a client -and not like me a complex server structure- then in windows you can do the following:

    1 Open Command Prompt.
    2 Type: ipconfig /flushdns

and that should actually solve the problem.

Hope it works for you Bento.
