    Default DJTT USB Cables

    Ok, so looking at the usb cables that DJTT supplies, one side is USB and the other is a printer, why do we need these cables?

    is this what controllers etc use? i dont currently know as my apc40 dosent come till wednesday.

    Most controllers and soundcards use printer cables.

    yes youre apc40 will use a similar cable (which i do recommending upgrading btw)

    smaller devices would maybe use the smaller end such as the AKAI LPD8, but most controllers use the standard "printer" USB cable.

    Yeah i bought a few LED USB cables off ebay, (high grade shit too), spent 15 quid on 7 of them inc. postage. they came through with a printer end, i was nearly in tears but youve cheered me up now thanks

    Its a standard USB type B cable. Lots of USB products use it.

    Usually people wait until they need a cable, then they buy it. That way you know exactly what cable you need.
