Questions about my VCI 100...

I just recently bought a brand new VCI 100 and I have to say that I'm very happy with my purchase.

Not only it performs as expected... it gives me everything that I need in order to to what I want to do.

But... I just have some intriguing questions that hopefully I can get an answer.

For instance... I bought the regular VCI 100 and when i see the VCI 100SE I like all of the things that it does... but would I be able to upgrade and use all of those features that are available for the VCI 100SE in a Regular VCI 100???

If so... what do I have to do in order to get things working that way on my regular VCI 100?

You can upgrade your firmware on your regular VCI-100 and make it function as an SE. you'll need a firmware upgrade kit.

Now another question...

When the new S4 software that is coming out for the Traktor Kontrol S4 Dj System... would I be able to use it on my VCI 100 or are they planning to do an upgrade to use it for the regular VCI 100?

DJTT has said they will have and updated mapping that will utilize the new functions of the S4 software.

Another question... how do I get the bottoms on the top to light up on specific colors (like green and blue)?

You only get the blue LED's with the SE, sorry if I forgot to mention that. A regular VCI will only light up Orange and green. You can change the LED's though.
