Default Is there a new midi-fighter coming out?

I remember when the original midi fighter came out there were also pictures of a prototype of a new midi fighter that featured knobs and faders etc.

are there plans to release that badboy or something like it soon, or is that a personal toy of the DJTT headquarters?

also, a buddy of mine suggested that it would be really slick if a joystick for x/y control was installed on the new version - which goes without saying would also compliment the arcade look of it nicely.

From what i gather, all midi fighters have 10 extra port thingies where you can attach faders and knobs. I guess you could attach your own joystick to it, theres a vid of someone whos done that on youtube (tired to find it but apparently the vid's ID is incorrect ). Im really no expert on the matter, so il let someone else a bit more knowledgable in the area elaborate .

^ aaah that must be what i was thinking of... hmmm. very cool but 2 faders seems a bit limiting..

what do you guys think of the Joystick idea? i'm sure that could open up some intriguing mapping options.... in addition to looking super badass. heheh

I think a device with 16 arcade buttons on the left, 16 on the right, with two up faders, a cross fader, some knobs, some buttons, and playstation analog sticks would be awesome...I got a little carried away
