Default Urgent: Best Laptop under $700 USD

    Hey there,
so just today my super old laptop's screen stopped working and I've got a gig on Sunday. I've sunk so much cash into into my piece of crap laptop already that I think It's time for a new one. So for DJing, what's the best laptop I can get for under $700. There's a bunch of back to school specials at Futureshop and what not so many there's a good deal there?
Any help would be appreciated, and don't tell me to get a used mac. I hate macs.

    Thanks, Misha

Sorry I am very biased against Dell. Not a fan of their laptops at all.

Okay here`s what I`m looking at so far: This

    vs
    http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...a80058dca6en02

The first one has DDR3 ram while the second has a bit higher processor power and they`re both basically the same price. WHich one should I go for

The acer has similar specs to mine and has win 7 pre installed (if its the 64 bit version, even better)

Gateway customer support sucks in my experience, so that's something to consider. I can't wait to get rid of this gateway I have now

Acer is a solid company. I'd swear by them as far as windows laptops go for cost efficiency.

While I don't have a laptop myself at the moment, I've helped friends and family search for them, and when it comes to cost crunching, most of them have ended up with Acer's that are honestly a good deal for the money.

    I also despise Dell/HP/Gateway.

My last laptop was a Sager, and I really liked it. Not a well known company, but they can make a beast of a machine. Not quite in that price bracket however.
