The dudes in Phoenix did something awesome I wish more artists would do. They made the complete multitrack of their last album available online for remixing. Could make for useful DJ tools too. I'm downloading 'em now.

awesome!!! Dada Life does the same with a few of tracks. i hope this trend toward openness continues. im sure you will still have some people pissing about the dying record business. blah blah blah....
but open distribution and creative commons is the way to go.

Phoenix are a fantastic band... Love them for years but only managed to catch them live this year at Glasto for the first time...
