Need help finding a couple things

Hey Djtechtools, I'm looking for two things.

1) A place where I can get someone to say and record a sample of my dj moniker. I know places are around, I can't remember where. Free by the way...

2) samples of the vocal "bass". An example would be the famous "bass how low can you go" sample from Public Enemy's Bring The Noise.

Any help would be appreicated

Just get a female friend to say it into a mic. don't stick her too close because the sound will pop, though.

before you start dropping your own name in your sets... think long and hard if it's really gonna "enrich" them - and ask yourself: are you good enough to get away with it or is it just gonna end up sounding ridiculous, like 98% of all dj drops?

I agree with you, most DJ name drops just sound corny and ridiculous. But if it`s subtle and not super obnoxious I think it`s important for branding your mix.

You can bag this acapella from acapellas4u ... then hack it up to your hearts content in audacity or somesuch

Yeah but I'm sure there's samples already cut up somewhere....
