    Default Traktor Scratch without Mixer

    Hey guys. Here's the setup.

I am looking at getting a pair of 1200s. I currently have an Audio 4 DJ. I don't have a hardware mixer. I do have an X-Session Pro.

So here's the qeustion: Can I hook up the tables to control Traktor and then use the internal mixer and use my X-Session for the time being until I save up enough cash to purchase a mixer?

    Thanks,
    You guys are the best!

that should be no problem as you can use it in external/internal mode so you have midi control also.

Any reccomendations on mixers for a good price? I found this Vestax one at Guitar center for 100 bucks used. PMC 06 PRO.

That's not a bad deal. The 06 is actually a really nice minimal battle mixer, very suitable for mixing as well.

Get the hardware mixer, you'll thank yourself later. It's just a lot easier to set up and get started with. A Vestax mixer in working condition for a c-note or less is a steal.
