Sennheiser HD205

So, are these any good? I don't really feel like splashing out massively on some HD25s so I wondered how these compared...

I use a pair to DJ with, they're perfectly adequate for my needs and great for the price.

The 280's are fantastic, I highly recommend them.

I use a pair of 205's at home which are great, and we use 215's when we jam. Both great phones altho i think the 215's are more suited for the djing side with the coiled cable etc. Get the best ones you can afford mate.

Proud owner of hd 215. Gr8 headphones. Even I like more a bit smaller headphones (like 205) I decided to buy 215. Sound quality is superb, isolation even better.
Also, the first thing that will happen to your headphones (doesn't matter which brand) is cable break. 215 have replaceable cable, with standard 3.5mm connector.
Trust me, its worth giving few $ more for 215

Hmm, might go for the 215s then, they're only about £25 more. Not too bad.

Thats interesting...Here in Serbia I payed my 215 60eur and 205 were 50eur.

Amazon have the 205s for about £25, 215s for £56. However I saw the 205s in HMV for £50. Shrug.
