Wasn't my 21st birthday, no, but I went to a Full Moon Party on Phangnan (sp?) and wound up in bed for 40 hours following, hospital -> IV -> all that shit. Had to lie to avoid quarantine on the way back into Japan. Turned out it was dysentery. One of my bosses told me to quit eating turds on vacation.

yeah I lived in various parts of Thailand for the past 6 or so years... mainly up in the North near Chiang Mai (had a restaurant/guesthouse/bar/etc).... best 6 years of my life

I'm back in the UK most the time now but still visit a few times a year... got a little trip planned in a few months... hoping to get my new DIY controller done before then so I can do a few gigs in BKK
