    Default Which audio interface?

M-Audio Profire 610....or.....Presonus Firebox? I saw Ean used a Firebox at one time. I want to get into Digital Djing but also want to use it in my small studio to record with.

The firefox 6/10 interface is including SPDIF inx2 and outx2. therefore you truely only have 4 in and 8 out.

Presonus Firebox is a tank! Very nice, small form, great sound!

I'm having second thoughts on buying firewire interfaces since apple has just removed firewire400 from their macbook pros. I'm thinking of upgrading to an audio8DJ instead any thoughts?

Firewire 800 is backward compatible with FW400 devices. The Firebox will work fine on your MBP.
