so it doesn't have midi control?
if used with Traktor, you'd have it set for external mixer?
still nothing to match an evo5, I'm afraid.
a little disappointed unless it's got some other bells and/or whistles to be released this weekend.
yeah....this was a let down. Its a bad ass 4 channel mixer, with tons of great stuff on there, but thats it??
Im really hoping Pioneer has something to offer this weekend.
SSL - DJM 800 - Technic 1200's - X1 - ITCH - NS6 - VCI-300
Huge let down.
Meh at the eq layout and losing the mid high/mid low separation, but who knows, maybe the alternate filter mode w/ adjustable resonance works well too.
Very cool that it still has the dual filters.
Nice chunky rotary dials for fx dry/wet, cluttered fx sections though.
Interesting placement of the usb connector : it's in a convenient spot - on the top so no need to shuffle behind the mixer when setting up, and out of the way of mostly everything, so lesser risk to knock things out.
@deco : notice the midi shift button, middle of the left side. Now to figure out which parts are midi assignable...
Also notice how the PR blurb on there doesn't mention certification for either of the two main DVS.
Digital inputs are a nice addition as well. I mean come on, digital outs have been standard on CDJs for how many years again? I haven't seen them used yet, even when in tandem with one of the Pioneers which have digital inputs.
Only two of the inputs are switchable to phono unfortunately (the four inputs were switchable on the 92).
I just spotted the fader slope controls. Only switches now, no more knobs.
