Default Traktor S4 vs VCI 100 Arcade w/ Midi Fighter

Hey yall, so here's my scenario: I wanna get into DJing, just a hobby for now, but I don't want to start off with a cheap set up. I've narrowed down my search to either the Traktor S4, or a VCI-100 Arcade along with a midi fighter. What I love about both of these options is that they enable so much potential creativity.

    What would you go with?

Realistically an S4... go with the newer technology.

S4 and then down the line... a midi fighter. Best of both worlds... arcade buttons do rock!

it all depends how you play. Me personally I don't use/need arcade buttons. I would much rather have some solid jogs you can scratch on. Not saying either is better - just saying that the answer to this question all depends on how you want to play or what meets your needs.

I bought a midi fighter thinking that I would use it alot more in my sets. But realised that It is more of a battle controller for my own needs. But I did learn in the process what I like and what I don't like.

S4, it'll really help you get used to all of Traktor's features in no time at all.
