Default The softer side of house/techno/dance

So I'm playing a gig next monday night (woo!) and just got asked to do the opening set at 6:30 (doors open) and I think I'll need something softer than my usual electro tastes to play while the crowd start to roll in.

So I'm looking for some recomendations on Artists to start collecting and intensively studying. I know playing more minimal/tech-house (whatever you call it) is an art to play smoothly and well but it's a skill I'd like to learn.

So artists I can think of so far that I can use:
    - Booka Shade
    - CFCF
    - And I'm drawing a blank on anything else I have
I realise CFCF isn't minial or tech-house but some of their stuff is softer. Think tunes you can spin while beautiful people talk (not yell) over cocktails.

    And open to ideas now...

Soma Records maybe up your street. It's mostly techno, but the do a little side line in ambient, deep and down beat etc. They have been synonymous with quality electronic music for nearly 20 years now

Thanks Archie, anymore tips on solid labels? I've been doing the hypem blog thing for too long it's time to move up to checking the labels as well.

Might be able to find some more laidback tracks on http://danse-pour-tous.tumblr.com although the guy running it tends to highlight more uptempo and headliner tracks.

Try Schall Records. It is a netlabel that offers its discography for free under Creative Commons Licensing at 320kbps. Most of their stuff is dubby, minimal or techy.
