Default Help! My Audio 4 making static!!

    hey guys,

i recently got an Audio 4 DJ and i'm noticing it distorts all of my tracks. Whenever there's a track playing, there's constant static that'll make all my track sound like theyre playing through busted speakers. The same thing happens through my headphone channel.

I recorded part of a song where i heard alot of static, unplugged all of my stuff, plugged my laptop into my JBL computer speakers, through my computer's internal soundcar, and all of the static was gone!

This leads me to beleive the problem is caused by the Audio 4 DJ, but how do i fix it???

    thanks

If you unplug your laptop, does the static go away? If so, you are suffering from ground loop hum. Do a forum search on this.

it's not a ground loop issue.
