    Default Nano Kontrol

I hate the faders. Any mod already exist to make this dj worthy? I think some Epoxy is going to come into play to make this thing better

This was built out of a modded Nanokontrol and a modded keyboard.

My take on modding normally requires a lick of paint, go-faster stripes, few knobs colors changed here or there and maybe a firmware update ...

BUT that thing isn't modified - its an entity unto itself ! f*ckin A+

It's amazing that this comes up today!

I've just started a topic in the S4 sub-forum on modding a NanoKontrol for S4's Sample Decks control.

Kudos man! The outcome of your project is simply amazing!

The NanoKontrol looks so rich in features. Wonder how is it on the response side and if it's worth the investment in all the customization.

Also, I'm thinking if it will be possible to go in few stages:
    Stage A:
A1. create a new box for it
A2. attach as is on the upper side of the box
A3. install 2 x 8 arcade buttons below the existing PCB, connect to 16 of the existing buttons (as duplicates)

    Stage B:
replace the faders, knobs, all buttons eventually

... Maybe I should just plan for Stage B directly, as the NanoKontrols' built-in faders/knobs/buttons would be awful when compared to S4's nice & smooth ones ...

I see that you didn't expose the LEDs. That's possible, right?

It's amazing work man! Very inspirational!

That's not mine, but thanks for the support. The guy who made it posted it in the show your gear thread and seemed to disappear.

My nano is in the process of being hacked up right now. I'm building a controller to surround my launchpad; with faders on the sides and bottom, and knobs on the top. I'll post some pics of the progress later.
