Default Novation Sl MkII 25 vs american audio wms4

Ehy....just looking for some help..my budget isn't so high but i want to take a controller so as to control traktor pro.
I have a mixvibes and a behringer djx 700. I thinked to buy a novation sl mkII 25 too use as a controller (the mapping is not a problem for me...i have done it for my axiom). But many friends told me that keyboards is a shit to that purpose...so the second option is the american audio wms4....but i am not so sure cause in that way i will not use anymore my soundcard and mixer...(And also i will take the novation to use it with ableton). Help me please cause i don't know what to do....if you have also any other suggestion about other controller just say something!!!thanks

The keyboard isn't great for mixing, but if you think your comfortable with it go for it. I personally would suggest you keep an eye out for a used VCI-100. You could get one fro pretty close to what the Novation cost and since you already have a sound card your set to go.

I personally love to mix with keyboards...
And i think the Novation Sl MkII 25 is the best keyboard for DJs

I use a M-Audio Oxygen 8 v2 and two korg nano kontrol mixing internally.

Look the VMS4 review on DJTT, it's not so good as we tought that would be before launch

Do it! VCI's have great resale value and at that price you'll probably be able to get all your money back.
