    Default replacing knobs

    hey i bought the rubber replacement knobs for the vci 100. i'd like to know how to remove the stock silver knobs and replace them with the black rubber ones i just bought. does anyone know how to do this?

    you can just pull out the knobs bull pulling straight up and you can use string/dental flosh for the fader caps. I've done it several times on my vci's no big deal. Be sure to show us a pix when you get it done.

    removing the fader and pitch slider caps by simply pulling up on them was a cinch. but im still not sure about removing the rotary knobs. ive pulled straight up on all of them with significant strength and they havent budged. short of taking some vice-grips to them, ive tried pretty hard. do they come off at the silver caps or below at the thicker gray base?

    try taking the face plates to get extra leverage.

    Im talking about the rubber knobs sold in DJTechTools web store found by clicking "store" at the top of this page.
