    looks like a livid DIY job to me definitely used as a launchpad style controller, excellent song though.

    i edited my message they are handmade (aka expensive) that's why they aren't that popular

    gui boratto uses the 8x8 model and deadmau5 the 16x16

    A good DIY alternative is an Arduinome. Making an 8x8 ends up only costing like $150 instead of Monome's $500. Plus you can customize the LED color, RBG FTW!
