My mates are going to the next B.O.W gig but i cant go unfortunately.

Ive never heard him miss a beat or drop a bad mix. He does 5 hours on 3 decks and plays such a wide range of genres and its all beat perfect. How he mixes Jazz tunes with drummers going all over the show is beyond me.
Totally, I'm a from a turntablist background whom normally prefers to see crazy physical action behind the decks but I'm wowed but Scruff's mixing skills, the way he manipulates a top quality delay unit to grab perfect loops of an wonky old beat to extend a tune and then mix over that delayed loop is nothing but genius. But what I love most about a Scruff night is the fact you'll hear a proper crate diggers collection full of timeless music, unlike the short shelf life dance music you find at your average club night.

    GIGS NEXT YEAR..

Tickets for the next London Koko gig on Feb 19 2011 are now on sale. http://www.mrscruff.com/showscreen.p...&event_id=6539

There will be less gigs next year, as Ninja Tune are locking me away in the studio with a massive bag of tea, to make sure that I finish my next album. I will, however, be allowed out for my Manchester Band On the Wall gig on Jan 29, and we are currently booking gigs in February, including possible gigs in Ireland, Cambridge & Leeds. These should be confirmed very soon.

Until next time, be kind to your ears, wrap up warm, and have a lovely week!

    Mr. Scruff

Ha brilliant, the mans a non offensive business machine! A quality empire built on crate digging, lovely tea and happy little cartoons, what legend! As humble as he come's across he's certainly got his head screwed on, I grabbed his attention after his last gig at Koko's in Camden. I told Mr Scruff that he had heavily dictated my record collection over the last few years, his reply "I should of got commission"

@midifidler, I 100% recommend it my friend, he's constantly rocking around the world so you never know he might be stopping near down under in the coming year.
