It's just so not the same products, nobody can't answer you without more details about how you do mix, what's your current set-up, how do you plan to expand eventually, etc...

As a personal note, and whatever, the 3d is not in production anymore so I would be afraid to loose much in terms of value in the future. You better have a 4d as a different choice to compare to the DX (but once again, the above stays true - we need more details).

And by the way, 1200$ for a DX is way too much as it's price has decreased recently (depending on your territory).

Yul is right completely different setups and the DX is $999 for the most part now.

sorry, i sold my cd-players, cuz i want to use traktor. i come from eu-slovenia. and the cheapest xone dx is for 900€. i am thinking about 3d because i can use it like a mixer without laptop. and dx is designed for serato ...

I've used both, I mix minimal & Techno Not sure what you'll be mixing, But the 3d is far better built.

and ITCH isn't much compared to traktor
