    Default Has now joined the mac club,for a very good price

    So its about time i joined the mac club was lucky enough to pick up this sweet deal,a guy i know just got the latset mbp so i bought his mbp off him

    So just got:
    15"MacBook Pro 2.4GHz (late 2008)
    OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
    320GB hard drive
    2GB of RAM
    1+year applecare

    For £470!

    and it is flawless,not a mark on it,with all software,discs,latest updates,boxed
    i dont know the mac price market too well but i think i got a good deal

    have to wait till tuesday to get my hands on it.but was in the applestore today and no more do i have to wonder what it would be like to own one.

    feels good to be in the mac club.

    Bye bye windows vista.

    do mbp take normal laptop HDD? Looking at putting in a 500gGb or do you have to use one with an apple logo on it?

    Normal HDD should be fine, i'd reccomend SSD though.

    And you lucky fucker, i paid £625 for a battered 2007 White Macbook, you got one hell of a deal.

    im not sold on ssd yet (i build pc's) but the price is still too high on them imo
    give it another year and we shall start to see a big price fall+i have never had a hdd fail me yet,but of course if i see a good deal on one i will pick one up.

    Yeah i still use a normal hdd, but SSDs are amazing for running your music, loading tracks and such is like instantaneous.
