It means nothing hes just talking crap, relative messages are not going to help fix this at all. The only way your going to get the original beatmasher back is by using on the the fx banks in advanced mode and creating your own super knob so it sounds relativly like what the previous beatmasher sounded like.

Maybe then you will you care to explain what that has anything to do with making the beatmasher act more like the Traktor 1 beatmasher ?
All you are managing to do is confuse Kaon.

I dont even think Kaon knows what Koan wants !
Those are relative messages not fractional, fractional messages dont even exist - i think what Koan wants is to be able to set see the mash sized based on fractions much like how it is in advanced mode.

This all has absolutely ziltch to do with relative messages.

Put simply you cant control which beatmashing "fractions" it is skipping between without sitting Bomes midi pro between Traktor and your midi device.
Then you then make the knob send out different midi notes depending what position the knob is in, then using these midi notes you would assign those note ons to directly set the beatmasher to different places of your choosing that fall on the different settings you wish to skip though.

haha you're right i didnt actually know what i was trying to ask (this is the basis of all my questions)

ok so can i have the first knob activate a loop and have the 2nd knob change the loop length? can i set the loop length knob so that in certain positions, it is looping a certain amount of time?
