Default First gig on a Kontrol X1

Finally did my first full gig on my Kontrol X1 and had it mapped as a mixer as well and on the whole it worked very well.

The sound quality from my Audio 4 blew my vci-300 away for loudness without even making any tweaks.

I used a mapping from the NI site and it worked great and the main reason i bought it was for the dance stuff as i use a vci300 for urban stuff but I am quite impressed and wont hesitate to take it on the road again.

Yeah just an x1 runnig through the club mixer and a tsi making the x1 a mixer in its own right playing dance all night for 6 hours non stop...worked so much better than i thought and its such a simple set up and ultra portable.

If you had the X1 running through the club mixer why didn't you just use the club mixer externally and use the X1 to control the rest of Traktor's functions?

I would have thought you only need to use the X1 as a mixer if there was no club mixer. Weird.
