Default Help for a newbie DJ

So I have Traktor Pro and I have an Ipod Touch with ITM DJ(Crossfader,Volume,Bass,Gain,Filter,Play,Sync) and I use it as a midi.
So I play mostly house music but I don't know any transitions. Can you tell me step by step (or make a video to help others to) some easy transitions?
    Thank You!

Young padawan. You have come to the wrong part of the right place. Read EACH & EVERY DJTT article, and only when you have done that, you may return. Be gone with you.

you dont want to go out and buy like 10k worth of equipment that youre gonna be over your head with but at the same time using a midi ipod app is really gonna hold you back. what are you using? Mac? PC? cause when i first started i went out and bought a Vestax spin for 200 from the apple store just to play with and eventually bought Traktor pro and got the mapping from oldfashioned and have been adding gear every so often when i can afford it/when i get to the point that im very proficcient with the hardware... to my collection.

it seems as though youve hit that wall with using your ipod to try and mix as you cant do the transitions and such you want = time to upgrade gear.

have you tried mixing internally in traktor pro with just your mouse and what not? do you know how to phrase/phase match songs? cause then you could just do a basic intro/outro trasition in the computer by moving the bass from one track to another (look up dj ravine - he uses VDJ in teh vid but its the same priciple)
