    Hey
I'm looking for a new setup for DJing, now I have a Midiplus Origin 49, nano pad and nano kontrol.
Im traveling for europe right now and I think to get something from Thomann, I have a budget of 500 euros.

    Options:
    vci100 + audio 2 dj = 466Euros (Ean recommend this setting over the vci300)

    AA VMS4 + audio 2 dj = 467Euros (The sound is a crap, but with a a2dj?)

I read a lot of review of both setups, but I cant decide.
Now everybody seems to have a s4, but this baby round the 869Euros so, what do you think?

    Help me please!

    Thanks

VCI paired with a midi-fighter. It's an awesome set up. I just hate going into Juggle mode so having some extra buttons for your hot cues is really nice.

I love the vci for all the mod's
Im an electronic technician so I planning do it a lot of mods.
Im think the arcade buttons mod its great but Im planning do the same setting the nano pad as triggers for the cues.

so... I think the vci won the match

get a vci-100 mk1 if you can get it, they are selling fast and will be extra expensive if you don't get them from a retail anymore.

the vci-100 mk2 is not too bad, it's better than the AA and comes with a built in sound card. there is deck switching built in and it isn't too expensive, but it still feels plastic-y and is more geared for a hobbyist that needs all of the kit in one.

Yes, I would buy the mk1 from thomann, and buy the upgrade kit for the firmware...

Anyone use the nano pad as midifighter?

I just bought a vci but am yet to recieve it. In my opinion, a vci setup would beat the American Audio setup for a number of reasons: I assume the vci would have superior build quality, it's smaller, and it has an AWESOME mapping and great support from this site
