DJ YODA was the pioneer of video mixing he used the dvj x1 and 2 turntables for his 1st video tour as they hadnt even invented a video mixer at the time. That was the year it was realeased. He then used 2 dvj 1000 with a simple video switch and a pioneer mixer and 2 turntables with serato. Then he helped design pioneers video mixer and used 2 vdj 1000s the video mixer and 2 turntables running timecode with serato. He used that for 2 tours I think. Then he started using the rane 68 with 2 turntables running video and 2 ableton decks. Serato lead the way in video mixing today however it is expensive to get going you can get on the map with video mixing pritty cheaply with virtual dj.
