Default Anybody a GLITCH HOP expert?

Recommend me some killer glitch hop. One of my local dj's spins it and it's too fun.

    Anybody?

    Huh?

I second Kraddy, thats a great jumping off point. Glitch Mob is to some degree a large part of what brought glitch into the mainstream. Their Pandora station is interesting and can point you in the right direction.

Chap, think theres a typo - thread title says 'Trip Hop', OP asks for Glitch Hop.

    D'oh!

and as for knowing Trip Hop - I live in St Pauls in Bristol about a mile from where the Dug Out Club was ...

(and tbh, I'd say that Deltron is more hip-hop than trip hop, especially Deltron 3030, and Atmosphere is more concious hip-hop though admittedly the genre 'lines' get blurry around that end of things

The classics of trip hop are Massive Attack/Portishead/Tricky Bristolian triumvirate. Then I suppose there's things like Alpha, Earthling, Colossus, Aim maybe ...

so are you looking for trip hop or glitch hop?
    they aren't the same thing.

there's a beginners guide to glitchhop sticky @ glitchhopforum.com you should check out if that's what your after.

a little foggy on the trip hop tip, i used to be really into it but haven't followed that scene for awhile... ninjatune records used to put out a lot of good stuff like that. i don't know who's pushing those sounds anymore, i imagine it's gone totally underground.
