Default music the love of my life

recently my gf noticed that i had an obsession over music, not just one genre, i listen to as many as possible, i could not belive that she told me how much time i spend listening to music, producing, mixing, on djtechtools.com, on my own blog vs time spent with her, im sure im not the only person with this problem, so whats the best way to deal with other people not understanding the passion that we have.

On a more serous note, if she loves you, she sohuld be able to understand when you have a passion for something.

you've just gotta work out a way you dedicate time to your gf and your 'musical mistresses'

have a chat to the missus and tell her you need to spend x amount of hours to music related activites a day, and see what she says

was music a big passion (i.e were you spending several hours a day/week doing it) before you got together with your girl?

the short of it is you just gotta find an even balance. happy wife, happy life... but if you are finding yourself using music as an excuse to get away from your girl - you may need to weigh it all up!

    Passion, we have.

    Attention, girls need.

    Balance, you must find.

This should be a red flag and you should take notice...she's going to make a decision...if you don't step up to the plate.

So you have to either find balance and put your priorities in check, or cut her loose and move on.

    Or,

Open a line of communication...keep it open, in check and often.

    Like Josh@Firestorm above said....balance.

    Women need attention.

It's like those magnetic mines in The Terminator Salvation...you can only avoid it for so long before you cross paths with it and it blows your legs off.

Spend time with her. Talk with her and make sure you're in check and she's good. Let her know how you feel about your passion and ask her where she finds the balance in the relationship. That's your guide. Make her happy.

    I bolded the important parts...

All the rest is just jibber jabber. I had to come back to correct my Yodaspeak...damn Stormtrooper thread
