Fader issue within the software
Ok so ive had my S4 since christmas now and its been working perfectly. until now where the fader on deck a keeps going up and down like thisAttachment 4629 not really sure why :S any assistance would be greatly appreciated or if anyone else is having/had this issue maybe we can help each other out.
Ive tried recalibrating and turning it on and off etc but to no avail

sounds like a bad fader sending incorrect signals to the software. I would call NI.

righteo, i just tried it in Tpro same result. Guess i'll shoot an email at NI, guess ill just wait and see what they say. Anyone know if NI's support is quickish?

Most likely you are gonna have to ship it to them for repair.

Ahhhhh fantastic, i dont suppose you know if ill have to ship it all the way to Germany or ship it to one of there retailers in Australia :S if NI don't respond within a week or two ill try shoot the store i bought it from an email idk if theres a warranty but maybe they can fix me up with a new one or something

Did you try recalibrating a few times cus it can fail.
Worth a shot.
Also recalibrate everything on the S4 not just the faders.

Thanks karlos, Re-calibrated the whole thing a couple of times throughout today still getting that fader issue. I talked to the store i bought it from and they said to bring it down so that they can perform tests and maybe fix it under warranty, Im going to wait from a reply from NI before i bring it down though, Thanks for the help guys

Used to have the same sinthomes with a dirty BCD fader.

Ni pretty much told me to take it back and get a new one so im gunna do that this weekend, not even going to think about trying to fix it myself NI replied quick which was good and extensively told me what i had to do thanks guys!
