Default Aggregate Audio 2 dj with a Audio 6?

Is it possible and how is the overall stability when aggregating soundcards? I'm a Mac user.

traktor only supports one sound card at a time on all platforms... not sure about ableton or other software.. VDJ might still supports multiple sound cards, not sure tho.

Firstly, why would you need to do that with the Audio 6?

Second, yes, you can aggregate any 2 sound devices plugged into a mac.
Go to the Audio options, and check the options and settings. You will see the Aggregate option.

    1) In the Snow Leopard Version Aggregate devices are created from midi manager in applications.
2)I am currently using my audi 4dj combined with a&h xone's 42 sound card and the macbook pro's headphone jack providing 8 out- 6 in channels. I even use timecode with this setup. As for the stability, as far as I've used it is working with no problems.
Latency is very good if this matters and no pops exist in 2.5ms.
I've set the audio 4dj to set the midi clock though.
So, IMO your setup will work flawlessly.

I too have aggregated an A4DJ with an A2DJ in a mac, it works flawlessly, only minor is you need two ports. It also works very well in windows with Asio4All.

Sadly, that means you must be using a cracked version of Traktor.

It's a bit silly in some ways, but with a licensed copy you can only use an NI soundcard. Aggregated or 3rd party sound cards only work for timecode with cracked versions.

Not necessarily since he's using an Audio 4.
