Default VCI-100 - the acryl-ring of my left TT is mixing up pitch-bend and skipping

    hey guys,
guess what. 2 weeks ago I had the biggest gig of my career and 1 hour before the show I was running a last check, when I found out, that suddenly the acrylic-ring of my left TT was changing between pitch-bend and skipping through the track. Also. the color on interaction was changing from blue to red all the time. I found out, that the left TT was much looser than the right one and that I can even pull it out a little bit. Any ideas how I can check this thing? Thanks a lot.

The looseness might have contributed to the jog wheel thinking you were touching the metal plate when you weren't. You can also try adjusting the jog sensitivity on the back, but be gentle with those little plastic screws.

be VERY gentle! I tried changing mine last week and had to take apart my VCI because one of the plastic screws came loose

    Be real careful!

I followed your tut and got mine working SO SO SO well....had it all adjusted PERFECTLY. Was jamming for my mates etc....scratching on the VCI100 etc.

Then turned it off....and put it away.

Next morning when i tried to turn her on.....no power!

Lucky the VCI is only my backup now and hopefully my mate can find the problem....but she is as dead as a doornail.

Not sure if it was me....or what!

    So yeah....just be careful!
