First gig wit the S4 this weekend:D

So i have done 1 out of 2 nights this weekend (last night) and had some problems with crackles and a few pops during the night. I have followed smittens guide and everthing is disablet. have to continue tweeking today, so im ready for the gig tomorrow...

My specs

Dell Precision M6300

core 2 duo, t9300 2,5 ghz
4 gig of ddr2 ram
Quadro FX 3600 graphic card

But working with the s4 was a dream, and i love even more now Macbook pro here i come?

what i did not do when i arrived at the club, was reconfigurating the jogwheels, can this have something to do with it?

I really doubt the jogs have anything to do with popping and crackling. Did you try to rais the latency to see if that fixed some of it.

No its still at 192, gonna do some testing now, and iv installed the win7 usb fix, taken out my battery as well, its no good anymore anyway so

So about 1 1/2 hour testing and no pops or cracks in the sound, usb fixed installed, latency set to 256. only crackle i had, was when i changed from group mode to single mode in the fx bank. but pnly once and i alway use group mode:P

So tomorrow, hopefully i will be playing tracks with no problems

had my first one tonight. and lemme tell you, i love the pitch faders on this beast. oh my god.

a lil upset i gotta go return it adn get a new one. the Headphone output is messed up, had to duct tape the headphone cord to teh top of the s4 to get it to keep working during my set tonight.

anyone had this problem? and how to fix without returning? or is it defective?
