Default LOL: Crappiest brand/product line of DJ equipment?

Just like every single thing created by man, DJ equipment can also get a loads of horse vomit produced and aimed for DJ's.

Just like the DJ mouse is kind of the Pontiac Aztek of DJ equipment, I bet there are a load of shit brands and gimmicky crap that is well worth a laugh.

To have an idea where I'm aiming at check this list of Gizmodos worst 50 gadgets: http://gizmodo.com/#!5431759/worst-gadgets-gallery or Wikipedias worst movies ever created: [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_considered_the_worst"]List of films considered the worst - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Glen_or_Glenda.jpg" class="image"><img alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/c2/Glen_or_Glenda.jpg/170px-Glen_or_Glenda.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/c/c2/Glen_or_Glenda.jpg/170px-Glen_or_Glenda.jpg[/ame] (agreed worst movie list should be at least 100 page long but for example)

So dearest DJTT community, could you share a story about a crap brand (ie, caught fire) or mention equipment too gimmicky and atrocious you rather drop dead than use it live.

this had the potential to be kinda cool in a useless sort of way - but then you hear that the x-fader is basically a switch and the EQ does nothing. Plain useless.

I have a dj mouse and I do freelance work for DJ-Tech. The dj mouse is not bad, do knock it until you try it, I used to for ableton to scroll thru my tracks. And its a genius product that sells like crazy, cuz their is a market for it. It might not be for you, but for a new dj or someone that plays track to track it might be the right product for them.

Most of their gear it not bad, to be honest a lot of their gear is really good. The U-Solo Fx are very dope media players and the new mixer that is coming out with the usb hub is gonna be sick.

DJ-Tech doesnt have the best rep esp online, but its a new company and its fair to say that every company is allow to have a few mistakes early on. Be nice, you never know who's looking at these forums.

Fair enough, but please suggest them changing the creative mind behind these promo vids.

IMO, Thats what forums are for, arent they? I think for DJ Tech to be reading the forums and getting a definitive picture about how we, consumers of DJ products, perceive their tech will help them if anything to correct the wrongs, fairly importantly, for free. I recon talk about piracy and similar illegalities like hate speech and what not is wrong but for us making fun of an, admittedly not very well put together, piece of equipment is common forum talk. Not to mention the DJ Mouse made it to the news here and not precisely for being a product of the year.

Now back on topic, DJ Fingers... *shrugs* I went to a local DJ store and they had this brand, Optimum/Optius/Omega... and damn, that was some shoddy stuff alright... It could be that the demo units were already worn but dang it felt really really shoddy.
