What's best/being used mostly for a non-Mac system?
Surprised such little amounts of people discuss this considering it's the main input from user to software.

Ableton 9.7.5, Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate 11, MOTU 828 Mk2, Nektar Impact LX61+, Ableton Push, Native Instruments Kore 2, and a random selection of soft synths and sample libraries.
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with Core i7 4960X Extreme Edition 12 core CPU, 64GB RAM, SanDisk Ultra Extreme SSDs and a GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming GPU.
I use my G9 on both. It's a gaming mouse, but I like it because I can change the weights inside of it, so it's less strain on my wrist.
I don't consider a mouse as the main input to Traktor myself, but clever controller keyboards & mapping... but it's me.
I concur, but I never thought of it as the main interface between hardware/software/operator in general. When playing/mixing/listening the situation IS different. Interesting to see how many DJs'/Controllerists' NEVER use a mouse or touch pad when running their software and controller(s)
I love the logitech marble mouse
I played online poker for a lot of years and was getting arm/wrist strain from a mouse. With this just my fingers have to move. I have 2.
Also you only need space a big as the trackball since it doesn't move.
