this is nice. I tried DJing with my buddies iPad and it wasnt fun. Touch OSC and traktor. I had to keep my eye on the pad the whole time and not on the software at all. Was difficult to have any fun with it.

Finally I brought it, very nice interface, with more option like loop to different size 1 to 16
4 effects, sync, vinyl or scratch etc..., but, the problem ist time to load a song from your itunes library vary between 45 seconds and 1m45s, depend on size, no good for mixing.

In that app…the developer found a library to do it and figured if you're paying $20, you might as well get something shiny for it.

In general…they graph frequency vs. power, which helps you visualize where you're "spending" dynamic range. So, if you're running hot or–god forbid–clipping and don't want to lower the level of your track (or pair of tracks or whatever), you could glance at it and see in an instant "oh…i've got a ridiculous spike in the high-mids…maybe I should turn that EQ knob down a tiny bit. You can also glance at it and possibly diagnose other issues…like…"i want this track to sound really bright, so I want to tweak things 'till the spectrum looks like this picture in my head."

Of course…you can probably hear that too, so…whatever.

They're more useful for production, but I've definitely watched them in Ableton before when I wasn't doing anything else.

They also tend to make trainspotters think you're doing more than you are…
